Last night, I went to to my school’s prefect dinner. Held at Grand Continental Hotel which is situated is the middle of Kuching city, it was a simple yet nice dinner.
The dinner was 2008/2009 prefects effort to celebrate 2007/2008 prefect’s hard word for a year. Their efforts makes the prefect dinner quite a success..
I arrived at the dinner quite late because of road blocks on my way there. But the VIPs are an hour later than me! Arriving late, I find it hard to find seats. As a result, I end up sitting very far apart from my classmates and friends; in my brother and friends’ table.
Consequently, I didn’t enjoy the dinner as I got pretty bored. Near to the end then I went to sit with one of my friends.
Boy, my brother was leaping to the sky when he won a prize from the lucky draw. xD. There were lots of lucky draws, a singing competition and poco-poco.
Min Huang was crowned Best Dressed Boy, and Phyllis Jap as Best Dressed Girl. From the occasion, I found out a lot of my friends can be very smart and beautiful, as they dress fancily for the dinner.
When its near to end, I call my parents. They were waiting for me and my bro. Thus, as soon as its over we rush down to our ride, causing me to miss opportunities to take pictures with my friend. (Regretful)
Well, that was my last Prefect Night. Just that I did not enjoy myself is wasting the ticket to the dinner.
