Well, today is like any other ordinary pre-exam day. We’re doing one of our Chemistry Topical Test correction when teacher asked me:
“Eric? What the is the name of the precipitate formed?”
I was caught off guard (as always) and answered what I think may be the satisfactory answer. Turns out wrong.
Then, My Chem teacher started to say that we need to do revision, constantly. (Alright, I heard that before, don’t have to repeat)
Then, she advised,” We all have dreams. And for you, getting an A in Chemistry is important. We all want to achieve dreams, but don’t just dream, start realising your dreams day by day everyday.. Work hard to you achieve your goal. Don’t let your efforts until now be wasted.” The way she said them struck right on the heart. Then she continued about advising us to do revisions, on how good the notes are.
Man, “start realising your dreams day by day everyday” really wake me up. I was woken to find out that till so far, I have not work hard enough in realising my dream(s). I want my dreams realised (don’t all us want to?) and stop goofing around my studies.
She stopped her advising (lecture, to some) and the whole class was so quiet (as we always when she does that). She look around, as if wondering if her message got to us.
Well teacher, I don’t know about the rest of my classmates, but your message did get to me. I want to realise my dream(s) and not wasting my 2 (almost) years of Form 6.
*advice is roughly recalled and not the exact quote.
Last night, I went to Jing Yee’s Birthday Party by hitching Wying’s ride after tuition. Hah, it was raining!
So, the party started right after all guest arrives. Boy, Andrew was early (ehem). Most guys were helping Uncle with the charcoals.
After that we dine! Yum yum! Haha, we got tom yam, stimbot, noodles, bubur cacar?, and many more foods. Boy, I was so full.
Then I got a little bored, so I went out of the house for some BBQ. And I found out..
What’s that white thing there? Haha, its actually sotong.. So many people thought its kueh tiau. (I got slap because someone thounght its kueh tiau, ouch! haha)
Then, its …
Cake cutting time. 3 language birthday song were sang.
Afetr that, I went out for a few more BBQ. Listening to chats and engaging in some.
Later, it got later and later. Wanying and Phei Sze are getting calls from home. Me too xD
So, we finally leaves the party.
Some pictures taken throughout the party:
Last Thursday and Friday (3rd and 4th July) was an annual School’s Sports Day. Miraclely, I took 2 events (lontar peluru and melempar cakera) that I never did before. Possibly because this is my final year that make me taking up few sports.
Well, Thursday started off with few events. Lontar cakera was in the morning (I didnt win any).
But in the afternoon, we had marching parade competition.
We’re not well arranged, and from far, we’re totally a mess. But, unexpectedly, we’re announce to be the champion for Pasukan Beruniform category. Boy, our hard works finally paid off. Aaron, our commander must be proud. I guess I did get my retiring gift after all.
Later, I did some first aid duty near the final point.
Although the day ended raining, but we had some fun. haha. I enjoy the time spent with friends.
The next day, I went expecting an event, but I found out that I am just substitute for lontar peluru. But never mind, I watch my friends do their events. Finally, its announce that my House, Ruby got 3rd place.
Well the whole event was enjoyable. Those moments (playing and marching) are cherish able and nice.
